"Coach Towards a Goal” equips managers and individual contributors with practical tools to lead effective coaching conversations that drive progress and ownership.
Participants will learn how to apply the GROW model (Goal, Reality, Options, Way Forward) to structure conversations, while building core coaching skills such as active listening, asking empowering questions, and providing thoughtful input. A key focus of the class is learning how to shift along the coaching spectrum—balancing directive and supportive approaches based on the needs of the person and the situation.
Throughout the session, learners will engage in interactive discussions and practice coaching a partner on a real professional or team goal. This hands-on application reinforces how to navigate conversations, deepen thinking through follow-up questions, and make targeted contributions that move goals forward.
