Description

Conflict often arises when individuals or groups feel that their viewpoints are not heard or their needs are not valued. High performing leaders are attuned to their people’s viewpoints and needs and able to extract the underlying challenges that can simmer beneath the surface if not addressed effectively.

In this class, you will learn a powerful framework for diagnosing the root causes of most conflict, and explore how to defuse tense and combative moments with compassion and grace. Together,  we’ll practice holding compassionate conversations that help build mutual respect and a workplace culture of trust and safety.

You will leave with a greater understanding of:

  • The powerful language of needs and emotions and how to name the root causes of conflict.
  • Strategies to defuse tense and combative moments with compassion.
  • How to transform conflict into greater connection and trust on your team.
