Address Microaggressions on Your Team

In this workshop, you will explore an essential skill required to address microaggressions on your team and build a culture of belonging: generosity.

You will learn strategies for staying open, curious and generous in your interpretation of others behaviors and intentions in moments of judgement. You will also practice powerful strategies to navigate difficult conversations and express people’s impact in ways that create a bridge to shared understanding and deeper connection. 

You will leave with a greater understanding of: 

    • The distinctions between intention and impact, and embrace different perspectives on your team.
    • Examples of common microaggressions, and ways to create a safe container where they can be addressed.
    • How shaming is the antithesis of belonging, and key behaviors to move people towards compassion and understanding.
