Description

Many employees, regardless of how much they value feedback, tend to wait to receive it instead of directly asking for it. Therefore, it’s no surprise that in a world of busy people, many of whom find sharing candid feedback uncomfortable, 65% of employees report that they do not receive as much feedback as they’d like. 

This course is designed to help you take your professional development into your own hands by proactively asking for the feedback you need to grow. We’ll show you how to ask the right questions to the right people to receive high quality feedback. Additionally, we’ll also discuss how you can best receive feedback by avoiding defensiveness, asking clarifying questions, and being thoughtful about how to implement the feedback.

You’ll leave this class prepared to: 

  • Put together a feedback A-team whom you can trust to give you helpful feedback
  • Ask goal-based questions that lead others to give you concrete suggestions for how to improve
  • Receive feedback well and make the most of it - even if it is not delivered in the most helpful way
