Description

Attention is a limited resource, and your audience only has so much they can devote to your presentation. Many slide designs end up either distracting your audience from your core message or overwhelming their attention with bullet points and other elements.

In this interactive workshop designed for all audiences, you will learn to guide your audience’s attention with visuals that support your core message while keeping people focused on you, the presenter.  You’ll leave this class with a clear approach for keeping slide designs clear and simple. You’ll get the most out of this class if you bring a presentation that you’re working on.

Once you register, you’ll have access to asynchronous articles and tools

At the end of this class, you will be able to:

  • Identify common pitfalls in slide design that can distract or overwhelm the audience's attention.
  • Acquire strategies for varying visual content to maintain audience engagement and refresh attention throughout the presentation.
  • Evaluate and critique slide designs to identify strengths and areas for improvement in guiding audience attention.
