Loneliness at work is increasingly a global epidemic impacting productivity, creativity, and health care costs. According to a 2020 CIGNA survey, 61% of adults in the United States reported feeling lonely (79% Gen Z, 71% Millennials, and 50% Baby Boomers). A Harvard Business Review survey found that 50% of CEOs felt lonely, with 61% reporting that it affected their performance. These numbers have only been exacerbated by the covid pandemic.
